Barça have scored 150 goals this season

Barça are only two goals away from equalling the number of goals they scored last season and eight away from the most amount of goals scored in a single season under Guardiola

Messi, with 54 goals, is the team’s top scorer. The Argentine has managed to score in every competition that Guardiola’s team have played in

From 100 to 150 in 18 matches

On January 9th of this year, Cesc Fàbregas scored FC Barcelona’s 100th goal of the season. It was in the Catalan derby at Cornellà-El Prat. Barça reached the 150-goal mark 18 matches after the game against Espanyol - 11 in the League, 5 in the King’s Cup and 2 in the Champions League.
Even though there are two months left in the season, Guardiola’s Barça is very close to breaking all of the scoring records since the manager took charge of the Barça bench. This Tuesday, with the five goals against Granada, the team reached the 150 goals scored mark in official matches this season. The player to score the team’s latest goal, of course, was Leo Messi. The Argentine’s hat-trick capped off a great night that allowed Messi to break César’s record.

Guardiola, record breaking pace

The team is very close to breaking their own goalscoring record under Pep Guardiola’s management. In fact, they are only two goals away from equalling the number of goals they scored last season (152), and they are within reach of the 158 goal mark the at the team set in Guardioal’s first year; the most amount of goals scored in a season for Guardiola as manager. To beat their own record, Barça have, at the very least, 13 games to play - 10 in the Liga, the King’s Cup final, and the Champions League quarter-finals.

LEMON FESTIVAL IN FRANCE

The Lemon Festival (or Fête du Citron® in French) usually takes place between mid-February until March, in Menton, a place in Alpes-Maritimes, situated in the beautiful area of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. The lemon has become Menton's symbol, routed in old local traditions with the new motto "My City is a Garden"

This is one of the largest festivals in the South of France (after the Carnival of Nice), attracting over 250,000 visitors and well, just 145 tonnes of lemons and oranges.

The festival has almost always been themed, starting up with the cartoon world in the 90's: Disney, or Tin Tin, Pinocchio and moving onto the countries of the world in 2005. Spain took the debut theme, followed by Brazil and India. In 2010 the theme is centred around world music, as if the amazing colours were not enough for a spectacle.

honey-pot ants

As their names suggest, honey-pot ants are like living pots of honey. They come from the fringes of deserts, or the semi-deserts. After the rains, there is so much nectar from ephemeral plants, there is actually more than enough. Good food will not be wasted in the harsh living conditions of the desert. So the ants feed some particular ants in the colony with nectar until their whole abdomen swells up with honey. They can be the size of grapes! Then, during the drought, when food is scarce, the other ants will feed on the honey, and the ants' abdomens shrink back to its normal size. The honey-pot ants save food in this way. They are also a source of food supply for other desert animals, including humans!

TIMES MAGAZINE QUOTE ON SACHIN

"When Sachin Tendulkar travelled to Pakistan to face one of the finest bowling attacks ever assembled in cricket,
Michael Schumacher was yet to race a F1 car, Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was still the captain of a world
champion Argentina team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam. When
Tendulkar embarked on a glorious career taming Imran and company, Roger Federer was a name
unheard of; Lionel Messi was in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid
in the Jamaican
backwaters. The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr
Manmohan Singh was yet to "open" the Nehruvian economy. It seems while Time was having his toll on
every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have
had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin
Tendulkar and we never will."
